STORY
The „Comic Future Trash Machine“ is an aesthetic construction made of recycled wheels, belts, chains as well as toothbrushes and graphic elements. Operating instructions and tool box encourage the viewer to actively engage with the machine. The machine requires two people – carefully read the instructions for use, clamp in the toothbrush, apply toothpaste, set up, prepare, check the machine, operate the main crank, press the clutch pedal and off you go… 3 cm stroke! In this way, the everyday, banal act of brushing your teeth playfully becomes a symbol of the discourse on sustainability and recycling.
